OMG!!!! Solange did it again. She looks flawless. She is in a soft yellow pantsuit with a white button down shirt. She attend the Carol's Daughter Monoi Collection launch event. She is the spokewomen for this collection. Also Cassie and Selita Banks are spokewomen to. All the ladies looked beautiful. But Solange caught my eye. I just love her style.

                     

Homemade Body Scrub

So ladies I made a body scrub last night and it was the BOMB.COM. Even Walter like it and he never tries my homemade body stuff. I use brown sugar, regular white sugar, grapeseed oil, olive oil, vitamin e oil and a couple drops of peppermint oil. It made my skin feel so soft. I will try this again. :) :)

I am part of a lovely shoe club called Shoedazzle. Shoedazzle is a company that has celebrity styles pick out shoes for you every month. Kim Kardashian is the founder of this company. This is how it works:

First you will take a style survey. The survey will ask you a couple of questions about your style. Then celebrity stylist will pick out shoes base on the survey. After that you can pick out the shoes that the stylist chosen for you. The good thing about it is only $39.95 a month.

So each month you will get different shoes to choose from. You can also chose from jewelry or a handbag. Every Tuesday and Thursday their dazzle deals. Each Tuesday and Thursday the deals are different. I was able to get one the dazzle deals and it was a overnight bag and tote. You also have the option of skipping a month. If there is nothing in your shoe room you like or it just does not fit your budget you can skip a month. You will not get charge. But you have do it before the 6th of every month. I went to Walgreens yesterday and I got some great finds. Anyone that knows me (BFF) that I love Walgreens. I can stay in there allday. LOL! So here is what I got. eos shaving cream, Yes to Carrots conditoner, Dove body splash, Sally Hanson Crackle Overcoat in white and Broadway Nails stick on wrap nail sticker. I am going to do a review on Broadway nail. They are a cheaper version of the Sally Hansen salon effects. I wanted the Sally Hansen but I just could not spend $10 on them. So I am glad that I found the Broadway version. Plus is was BOGO at Walgreens. So that was an add bonus.

Look What I Found

Look what I found in my local CVS. Sally Hanson Crackle Overcoat nail polish. When I saw the display I got off track on what I was really going into CVS to look for. LOL! But I did get a chance to get one. I got the blue one and it is called Distressed Denim. The nail polish cost $7.38. Here is a pic of the display.








Update: I found the nail polish at Walgreens for $6.99.

So I told you about a week ago that Rite Aid was having a sale on Wet N Wild. So I went and pick up a couple of things. I got 6 of the fast drying nail polish and 2 Color Icon eyeshadow palette.

Going Natural Was Not Planned

I have been natural for 1 year and 2 months. GO ME!!! LOL! Going natural was not planned at all. So here is the story. It was my wash day with my hairdresser and I did not know what I want to do with my hair. All day I was looking at this picture of Solange Knowles and it was the picture of her with all of her hair shaved off. I was like I can handle a hair cut like that. I said to myself if I don't like it I can always wear a wig until my hair grows back a little then just get braids. So all day I was going back and forth with this picture. So it was time for me to get my hair done. I just had her to wash then after my hair was dry I just told her i wanted to cut it.  Then I show her the picture of Solange Knowles. I wanted short like this. She ask me if I was sure and told her yes. So that started my journey of going natural. That was March 2, 2010.

My thoughts after going natural was what is my kids and my boyfriend going to say. Because I did not tell them what I was going to do. I came in the door and said Do you like my hair? I got the OMG face. Then I got I like Mommy from my kids and I love it Rene from my boyfriend. So I was happy about that. I LOVE MY NATURAL HAIR.

Wet N Wild has came a long way. The eyeshadows are very pigmented and so are the lipsticks. The sale started on Sunday, May 8, 2011 and ends on Saturday, May 14, 2011. Let me know what you get.
